Location: Bradford / Hybrid Working (1-2 office a week – Bradford)
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Analyst to join the Programme Management office at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

The Programme Management Office are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
You will require a good understanding of working in a PMO environment and be able to drive required governance, controls and assurance to support the delivery of projects to time, cost and quality targets and support the success of the Programme.
Working within our Programme Management Office (PMO) you will contribute to the successful and timely delivery of projects through the provision of informative and targeted management information and analysis.
Where you fit in:
As our Asset Investment Analyst your areas of responsibility will be:
• Timely Reporting & Data Provision: Deliver consistent, accurate, and timely information and analysis on the creation and monitoring of the Capital Programme through comprehensive monthly reporting.
• Performance Analysis: Analyse key financial and non-financial performance data to inform investment decisions and highlight areas of concern.
• Visibility & Communication of Opportunities and Risks: Supply detailed data on all Capital sub-programmes to maintain visibility of programme opportunities and risks. Ensure that this information is effectively communicated to wider teams to support proactive decision making.
• OFWAT Reporting, to support regular and ad-hoc requests from OFWAT on programme performance including expenditure, PCD and or regulatory commitments.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
• Experience of using analytical software such as Power BIand have advanced Excel skills.
• Highly numerate and be a data orientated person, with an eye for detail who understand the importance of accurate data.
• Good communicator with the ability to explain complex issues in a straight forward manner to colleagues at all levels in the organisation.
• You will possess effective organisational and time management skills
• You will be comfortable working in a team environment and confident of building effective working relationships
• Ability to independently, resourcefully, and creatively research and implement new approaches. Must have the aptitude and desire to learn new competencies and skills.
• Experience of compiling, assessing, interpretating and communicating data.
You will also benefit from having:
• Experience of working in the Water Industry or for a regulated company
• Experience of SAP
