Bulletproof, a rapidly growing technology focussed cyber security company is looking for a talented individual to support our customers through the Cyber Essentials Basic and PLUS Certifications.
As a Cyber Essentials Basic and PLUS Assessor, you will be responsible for providing remote consulting support and audits for customers who have purchased both our Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials PLUS offerings.
Your core day to day work will be taking ownership of our customers Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials PLUS applications. Which includes setting up, tracking, marking, and reporting on the service. Supporting customers will be achieved via email, Teams and by phone. Cyber Essentials PLUS assessments will involve remotely conducting workstation assessments and both external and internal vulnerability scans (along with any other Cyber Essentials PLUS requirements).

In the future, further avenues of support may become available such as the use of Intercom (instant messenger) within the Defense.com portal. There may also be rare occasions that a customer requires an assessment to be conducted on site.
You should apply if you have had experience supporting and advising customers, performing audits, and understand some of the core Cyber Security policies and best practises a business requires, such as firewalls, patch management, secure configuration, malware protection and access control.
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote support via email or Teams to customers striving to achieve Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials PLUS.
- Assist the Sales team with assessment scoping calls.
- Ensure all audit requirements of the Cyber Essentials PLUS scheme is met for every customer test.
- Scheduling PLUS assessments with customers at a time that suits both them and your own workload calendar.
- Writing and delivering detailed reports, providing advice and guidance to customers at each stage.
- Conducting Cyber Essentials PLUS audits which includes internal/external vulnerability scans and workstation assessments according to the IASME assessment criteria.
- Respond to customer queries and complete any admin tasks related to the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials PLUS application. (Trackers etc).
- Take on any future products that fall within the teams remit of support or any overflow projects from other teams (including pen testing).
- Contribute to the training and marketing teams with ideas for new content (blogs, videos, case studies etc).
Skills Required:
- Experience and confidence in supporting and assisting customers
- Auditing capabilities
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Knowledge of Information Security best practises
- Exceptional time management skills
- Experience using vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus
- Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Team etc)
- A drive to learn and grow within the career of Information Security
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- 3 Years’ experience working in the Information Security, tech or compliance industry.
- Customer service experience
- IASME Cyber Essentials Basic Assessor
- IASME Cyber Essentials PLUS Assessor Qualified (Includes confirmation of the IASME VA+ Exam being passed).
- One or one or more of the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- CREST Registered Penetration Tester
- CREST Certified Infrastructure Tester
- Cyber Scheme Team Member (CSTM)
- Cyber Scheme Team Leader (CSTL)
- EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA):
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
