We are looking for Property Care Case Handler to join our Corporate Property Services team in Bracknell.
Salary: £25625 + Bonus up to £5,200
About the role:
You will be managing a caseload on behalf of lenders, overseeing the repossession process and any maintenance request right through to the completion of the sale. The role involves communication with our clients and solicitors at the initial repossession process and communication with contractors throughout.
Main Responsibilities of a Property Care Case Handler
- Liaising with contractors, solicitors and clients to book in property possessions and the management of any potential challenges on the day.
- Deal with the instruction of any maintenance and emergency works which are required on a property from possession through to completion.
- Obtaining & managing comparable quotes from preferred suppliers ensuring they are fit for purpose & good value for money. You will also challenge the supplier where appropriate and liaise with our sales department for approval.
- Review images provided by the instructed supplier to evidence completion of works against the works description and ensuring the value of the works are justified.
- Ensuring key performance metrics are met on behalf of our clients by chasing contractors for updates on work and challenging if outside of our SLA’s.
- As no two properties are the same, ad hoc activities will be required to ensure the best outcome.
Skills and experience required to be a successful Property Care Case Handler
- As full training will be given, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and time management skills; highly organised and able to work at pace.
- Resilient and proactive team player with a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and confident engaging with all parties.
- IT proficient, including MS Office, internet, and email systems.
