The role


As a Credit Controller, you will take ownership of a portfolio of Partners and their debtor ledgers, ensuring effective cash collection and resolution of aged debt. You will play a key role in the firm’s credit control function, including:

  • Proactively managing cash collection and debtor ledgers.
  • Resolving payment-related issues and reducing aged debt.
  • Following up on all aspects of legal action where required.
  • Supporting integration of future acquisitions into the credit control function.
  • Contributing to the continuous development of credit control processes and systems.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking someone who is proactive and has strong attention to detail. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a 15-strong Finance function, led by our CFO, working with a diverse client base ranging from owner-managed businesses to large international organisations and high-net-worth individuals.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in credit control, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Skills: Proactive, confident in challenging when necessary, with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with SideTrade would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Qualifications: CICM qualification desirable but not required.

You will be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking Finance Team where your contribution will be valued, and your development actively supported. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your credit control expertise within a leading professional services firm.
