CAMBRIDGE Multi-drop Delivery Driver role
MWB or LWB van (no small vans)
Average of 80-100 stops per day
Day rate of £170 + £20 (daily bonus)
Requirements:
LWB / MWB Van owned OR ability to lease one
Correct courier insurances
25k goods in transit insurance
If you do not have your own van we can direct you to a hire company with a good rate.
We can also direct you to credible insurance companies if needed
Some experience in multi drop is preferred

Duties
- Operate a van to transport goods efficiently and safely to designated locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring that all deliveries are handled with care, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate any issues or delays promptly to the relevant parties.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely dispatch of deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the delivery process.
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is essential.
- Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is an advantage, as well as knowledge of local delivery routes.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
