Alpha Vet International has multiple pillars, and The Webinar Vet is at the core. With two teams, one team focusing on member engagement, onboarding, and managing our veterinary community, and the other providing partnership opportunities for brands looking to gain recognition with our audience.
We’re looking for a confident and driven Corporate Sales Executive to join the partnerships team at The Webinar Vet. This is a new business role for someone who enjoys picking up the phone, finding fresh opportunities and converting them into commercial partnerships.
You’ll report directly into the Head of Partnerships and work as part of a small, supportive team. This is a cold desk and will suit someone who knows how to build a pipeline from scratch, takes ownership of their activity, and gets results through consistent outreach and smart thinking. Once a client base is built, the role will shift to a mix of new business and ongoing business.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days of remote work.
You will bring
- Confidence and hunger to build a desk from scratch through cold outreach
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present, pitch, and win trust quickly
- A sharp commercial mindset, able to spot where value exists and act on it
- Solid B2B sales experience, ideally in outbound roles or from a cold desk
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own diary across multiple time zones
- Strong organisation and accurate reporting habits
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Experience in specialist or niche sectors is an advantage
- Knowledge of the veterinary or healthcare space is helpful but not essential
- A collaborative approach that allows you to work as part of the wider Alpha Vet International sales force
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prospecting and developing new business looking to reach our audience
- Holding a minimum of 20 meaningful client conversations per week (mainly through video calls)
- Pitching The Webinar Vet’s full range of opportunities including webinars, sponsorships, banners, email campaigns and digital advertising
- Building and owning your own sales pipeline and managing relationships through the full sales cycle
- Monetising our website through the sale of banners, sponsored blog posts, and course or programme sponsorship
- Monetising our marketing channels through promotional emails, newsletter slots, social campaigns and surveys
- Following up leads and converting them quickly into confirmed business
- Keeping CRM records up to date and reporting accurately through the Business Flightdeck
- Attending trade shows, events, and conferences to grow your network and stay close to the industry
- Taking ownership of your own targets, diary, and results, while being a key part of a small and focused team
Role Measurements
You’ll be measured and rewarded based on:
- Monthly new business revenue and client wins
- Progress against your agreed sales target
- Quality and quantity of outreach and client meetings
- Accurate and consistent reporting
- Number of new clients added to our commercial base each month
- Ability to identify and unlock new commercial opportunities for The Webinar Vet
- Positive contribution to the wider Alpha Vet International sales team
