About The Job
We are looking for a Copywriter to join our Creative Team and produce consumer-facing content. The successful candidate will take part in the development of a range of new and existing website projects for the group.
You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with plenty of opportunity for personal development, gaining valuable insight into how e-commerce operates and how to succeed in this space.
You will have impeccable attention to detail, experience in copywriting (preferably B2C with an emphasis on product descriptions) and, most importantly, you must have a passion for this field of work and drive to constantly improve your skills.
About You
- You’ll be an expert in creating engaging commercial copy.
- Good understanding of current SEO best practices and the role content plays in supporting this.
- You’ll understand the importance of and be able to adapt to different writing styles and a specific Tone Of Voice for each.
- You are a great storyteller with a talent for engaging with customers and delivering factual information in a format that’s easy to digest.
- You are proactive, with a customer-first mentality.
- You’ll have an understanding of vaping – advantageous, but not essential.
- You’ll have demonstrable experience in copywriting for e-commerce or retail.
- You’re comfortable working both independently and as part of a dynamic team
Responsibilities
- Create copy for web pages including product descriptions, reviews and landing pages.
- Review current website copy to identify areas for improvements.
- Support and liaise with purchasing and marketing teams to ensure product content is correct, up-to-date, and focuses on key USPs.
- Ensure all website copy is SEO-optimised to current best practices and in-house standards.
- Producing and planning website, marketing and blog content, that is aligned to trending search terms, product launches and category innovations.
- Working with the brand team to support copy for campaigns to be used across all marketing channels.

Working Hours
- 9:00 AM - 17:30 PM Monday to Friday.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
