Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
- Serve meals to residents, ensuring an exceptional dining experience through attentive service.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is preferred.
- Good skills in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
- Experience in large kitchen environment is advantageous.
