You will play a key role in supporting our conveyancing team, ensuring a smooth client experience from instruction through to completion. This is a fast-paced role where excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners in the conveyancing department
- Preparing and managing correspondence, legal documents, and forms
- Handling incoming calls, emails, and client queries with professionalism and efficiency
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties
- Maintaining and updating case management systems and files
- Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and assisting with general office duties
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary (ideally within conveyancing, but other legal backgrounds considered)
- Strong typing and IT skills with good working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
- A proactive and professional attitude with strong client care skills
