About the Role
We are currently seeking a creative, analytical, and proactive Content Strategist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing high-quality content strategies that support brand objectives, drive engagement, and deliver measurable results across multiple platforms.
This part-time position is ideal for someone with previous experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or editorial planning, and who is confident working independently within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective content strategies across digital platforms
- Plan and create engaging short-form video content, especially Reels and TikToks
- Create and manage editorial calendars, ensuring timely delivery of content assets
- Conduct audits of existing content to identify gaps and optimisation opportunities
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and digital marketing colleagues to ensure consistency in tone and messaging
- Carry out keyword research and implement SEO best practices across content
- Monitor and evaluate content performance using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or equivalent
- Repackage and refresh older content to increase visibility and value
- Maintain brand voice, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and engaging
- Support the planning and execution of content for websites, blogs, emails, and social media
Essential Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in content strategy, digital content planning, or editorial roles
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Familiarity with SEO techniques and analytical tools
- Knowledge of content management systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Portfolio or examples of previous content strategy work
- Proficiency in British English spelling and grammar
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with B2B or B2C brands
- Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, HubSpot)
- Comfort using productivity tools such as Trello, Asana, or Notion
- An understanding of brand storytelling and digital content trends
