Job Description:


A career as a Networking Intern allows you the opportunity to gain exposure and growth expertise on a wide palette of cutting-edge technologies while being involved in delivering business-critical projects. Our internships provide you with an opportunity to gain real world experience and make an immediate impact at HPE. You’ll get assigned meaningful projects, gain exposure to leaders, and connect with other interns. Key aspects of our internship program include learning and professional development, social and networking events, and volunteer opportunities.

During the 13-month internship at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, it is anticipated that the Aruba Team Assistant will achieve an Aruba switching or WLAN Associate level certification within the Aruba Certified Mobility Expert certification track, and an optional stretch goal of an additional exam pass which will contribute to a 2nd more advanced certification. Certifications and study track will be agreed with the manager during the course of the internship

What you'll do:

  • Assist in the hardware and software installation and the development of appropriate configurations for new PoC infrastructure(s) under the support, guidance and supervision of the local Technical Consultants and Lab Manager.

  • Partner with the Presales Teams to build strong relationships for opportunities and projects to support the ever-changing landscape.

  • Visit customers in a “shadow” role with other experienced technology advisory consultants

  • Build your consultative skills to uncover real customer needs

  • Present to peers, management, and customers to develop facilitation and presentation skills

  • Develop your personal network from worldwide experts

  • Learn how to price a deal and build the commercial construct.

  • Learn outcome-based selling that is focused on the customers’ workloads.

  • Manage team budget requests, ensure timely submission and reconciliation of orders.

What you’ll need:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a focus in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

  • You must be eligible to work in the UK and be available to commence the placement on the 1st of July 2026 for 13 months.

  • On track to receive a 2:1 or higher

  • Ability to demonstrate some work experience or participation in meaningful extra-curricular activities.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills and the ability to ask smart questions
