Community Safety Officer

About the role

This is a hands-on, community-based role where no two days are the same. As member of the Neighbourhood Housing Team, it is how you work with people that matters. Focusing on delivery of tenancy enforcement, focusing on managing cases of anti-social behaviour, playing a key role in supporting Neighbourhood Housing Officers, promoting early intervention and ensuring a consistent and high quality services for our residents. Building and maintaining strong partnerships with external agencies including the Police and Social Services while managing individual case with care and professionalism. Our offer to you

Salary: £34,369.00 per year

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: 1 Permanent role. Existing CHL employees are welcome to apply as a secondment opportunity, but please discuss this with your manager before applying.

Base: Hybrid working - working from office, home, site and in the community as needed. This role requires you to typically work from the office at least 1-2 day/s per week.

Your base will be:

Our North-East area covers from central towns of Bodmin to the seaside at Bude, from Launceston and over to picturesque Padstow, Camelford and Wadebridge. The patch area for this role is Bodmin and Launceston.
