Community Assistant
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Community Assistant to join our team in providing care and support within the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting clients and ensuring their well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the care team.
Areas we cover: Wolverhampton, Perton, Wombourne, Codsall, Willenhall and Bilston, Penkridge, Dudley
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and implementing care plans for clients
- Provide personal care and support to residents in accordance with individual needs
- Support clients with daily activities such as meal times, personal hygiene, and social interactions
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as required
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues
- Utilise app for documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Experience in home care or a care home environment is advantageous
- Valid driving licence with the ability to drive
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and reporting
