* Needs shipboard experience in a similar role
· Needs extensive guest services experience
· Needs working experience in problem solving and troubleshooting issues with the internet
· Needs to be extremely PC, cellphone, and tablet savvy
· Assisting guests/crew members to connect to WIFI (very busy especially the first 2 days of a cruise)
· Assisting with phone issues
· Fixing issues with the tablets and/or PCs in the Internet Café
· Problem solves issues with the Wi-Fi of the whole ship as they arise
· If they can’t solve internet issue, report any technical issues to the ship's IT support team promptly
· May speak in front of crowds to explain the internet onboard
· Upselling internet packages (commission on sales)
· Meet or exceed sales goals
· Answering questions about charges to their account for WIFI usage
· Answering questions about why their minutes have run out, adding minutes back to their account
· Report any technical issues to the ship's IT support team promptly.
- This person will be fixing internet issues and PC/tablet issues. They need to have this type of experience
· Contract: 24 weeks on / 8 weeks off
· Cabin: Single. Might be double on some Regent ships
· Uniform: Personal clothing. Business professional
· Salary: $2,100 per month while onboard (plus commission/bonus)
· 3 stripes
