The Role:
We’re looking for a skilled CNC Turner to join our growing team. While experience in both milling and turning is preferred, expertise in CNC turning is essential. You’ll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating modern CNC Lathes and Mill-Turns, ensuring that every component meets our customers' exacting standards. What You’ll Do:
→ Set, operate, and program CNC turning machines (experience in milling is a bonus)
→ Work with a range of metals and plastics to produce high-precision components
→ Read and interpret engineering drawings to manufacture parts to specification
→ Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments
→ Troubleshoot machining issues and optimise production processes
→ Collaborate with engineers to ensure efficient and accurate production
→ Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
→ Work a two-week rotating shift pattern with two weeks of day shifts followed by two weeks of night shifts, comprising of 4 10-hour shifts Monday to Thursday with overtime available.
What We’re Looking For:
→ Minimum of 5 years machining experience, with expertise in CNC turning including programming on a panel.
→ Strong understanding of CAD/CAM programming or an eagerness to learn (training will be provided to the right candidate)
→ Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools
→ A commitment to quality and attention to detail
→ A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for engineering
→ A team player who communicates well and takes pride in their work
