CNC Turner - Weekend Nights
Friday-Sunday (18.00pm-06.00am)
JOB SUMMARY
Turning aerospace parts to tight tolerances on a variety of machines. Full 100% inspection of your own parts. Operating two twin spindle, twin turret CNC lathes with milling capabilities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce parts to drawing requirements
- Verify parts using measuring equipment
- Safely operate and set delegated machines
- Set machines to requirements of setting sheet
- Ensure your work area is clean and tidy at all times
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Able to work to tight tolerances
- Good understanding of Fanuc/Mazarol programming language
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Must have experience in setting and operating twin spindle, twin turret Nakamura Lathes or Mazaks beneficial
- Good understanding of Fanuc language
- Preferably apprentice trained
- Any previous robot experience is advantageous
