Currently, our Precision Engineering Workshop, which mainly serves the Aerospace Industry, has four job vacancies:
- Two positions for CNC Millers (Fanuc, Mazak, or Heidenhain), available on permanent day or night shifts, with pay rates up to £18.76 per hour during the day and up to £25 per hour at night.
- Two positions for CNC Turners (Fanuc or Mazak), also on permanent day or night shifts, offering up to £18.76 per hour during the day and up to £25 per hour at night.
Programming experience is advantageous but not essential for these roles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating CNC milling or turning machines to produce precise components
- Interpreting technical drawings and CAD models to ensure accurate manufacturing
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting machinery issues
- Using hand tools and welding techniques for assembly tasks as required
- Collaborating with team members to improve production efficiency and maintain safety standards
- Conducting quality inspections to verify products meet all specifications and standards
Overview: As a CNC Miller or Turner, you will play a vital role in the accurate machining of components, reporting directly to the Production Manager. Your mechanical skills—such as fabrication, milling, and familiarity with CAD—will be essential in delivering high-quality parts. Experience with programmable logic controllers and SolidWorks is a plus for optimizing processes.
