Trentham Park Golf Club is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Clubhouse Assistant to join our front-of-house team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established and welcoming club known for its high standards of service and vibrant membership.
About the Role
As a Clubhouse Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service within our clubhouse facilities. This includes bar service, hospitality duties, general housekeeping, and supporting events and functions. You will be expected to maintain a professional, approachable manner at all times and uphold the club’s values of respect, quality, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly and efficient service to members and visitors.
- Support the day-to-day running of the bar, dining area, and clubhouse facilities.
- Assist with club events, including set-up, service, clear-down and securing the premises at the close of business.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in line with health and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and effective operations.
Essential Requirements
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays – this is a non-negotiable condition of the post.
- Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the business.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and time management.
- Strong customer service ethos with the ability to maintain professional boundaries at all times.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in hospitality, bar work, or a customer-facing environment is desirable but not essential.
