Role Overview
We’re looking for a creative, motivated and passionate Programming and Events Assistant to join the Club team at Tokyo Industries. Working with a large portfolio of club venues, they will play a vital role in driving venue success, supporting promoters and venues, and helping to ensure a smooth booking and events process for venues and promoters.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for someone with a passion for nightlife, music, clubbing and events industries. You’ll work alongside the Club Programming and Events Manager and venue General Managers to ensure each event is delivered with great success.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management and Content Creation
- Assist in planning and delivering social content across multiple venues and brands
- Repurpose existing assets and content for posting on social media
- Use Canva, Photoshop, CapCut or similar to create content
- Manage social media scheduling
- Stay up to date on socials trends
Marketing
- Assist with ad creation and setup in Meta Ads Manager
- Help build and maintain custom and lookalike audiences
- Filter existing and new assets for best content
- Assist and advise promoters on marketing methods and packages we have available
- Ensure there’s plenty of physical club promotional materials in each venue
Event Management Admin
- Handle contracting and invoicing for external hires
- Assist with advancing for upcoming events
- Undertake competitor and internal analysis to stay up to date with the industry
- List events on venue and ticketing websites
- Liaise with promoters and venues to provide ticket updates
- Fill in weekly event reports
Other General Duties
- Develop and pitch new event ideas
- Reach out to uni societies and small event brands for venue hire
- Brainstorming new marketing ideas and techniques
- Show prospective clients round venues
What We’re Looking For:
Key Skills and Attributes
- Excellent organisational skills and able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Experience using social media (Instagram, FB, Tik Tok) for business purposes
- Good copywriting and tone-of-voice adaptability
- Ability to manage and prioritise a large email inbox and workload
- Confident or familiar with Canva, CapCut, Photoshop or similar
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and trends
- Willing/able to attend 2-4 events a month to capture video/photo content
- Able to think ‘outside the box’
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in marketing, social media management, events industry, hospitality or promotions will be an advantage
- Use of social media for business purposes or influencing
- Use of ticketing websites such as Skiddle, Fatsoma or See Tickets
Must Haves
- Own Laptop capable of handling heavy workload (Macbook preferred due to existing processes and systems)
- Able to travel to Manchester HQ 2-3 days a week
- Passion for nightlife, music, clubbing and event industries.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
