JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Site Cleaning Supervisor to join one of our school settings. The Site Cleaning Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the school premises. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to ensuring a conducive environment for children, staff, and visitors.
Working Hours:
- Working 3hrs per day Monday to Friday (52 weeks per annum)
- Start/finish time 16:00pm to 19:00pm
- Competitive hourly rate of between £12.68 & 12.85 per hour
Responsibilities:
- To ensure that the daily cleaning of all areas is undertaken to a satisfactory standard by regular recorded inspection and monitoring.
- To ensure the company Health & Safety guidelines are implemented and adhered to at all times.
- To ensure on site equipment and machinery is kept in a clean and safe condition reporting any faults immediately to your line manager.
- To undertake administrative duties including the completion of log sheets and the ordering of materials and equipment.
- To assist your line manager in the training of cleaning operatives.
- To ensure all cleaning store rooms and sluice areas are kept clean and safe.
- To organise staff in instances of absences to cover all areas of the school.
- To liaise with the site management on all matters relating to cleaning.
- To deal with minor issues, then reporting any escalation of the issue to your line manager.
- Carry out other duties of a reasonable request
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in maintenance or related field is advantageous.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and operating cleaning equipment.
