Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or malfunctions.
- Interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Occasionally assist with driving duties as required for transporting cleaning equipment or supplies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients.
- Good communication skills to facilitate clear interactions with colleagues and customers.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for roles that may require transportation of cleaning materials.
