Overall Job Purpose
St Joseph’s Tilehurst, Reading, is seeking to appoint a part-time Hall Cleaner to work 5 hours per week to clean the two Church Halls.
Role purpose: Responsible for maintaining the sanitation & cleanliness of two Church Halls, to ensure they are kept in an acceptable clean condition.
This is a part-time permanent role, 5 hours per week, to be worked: 1 hour per day Monday to Friday (8am to 9am).
Location of role: St Joseph’s Tilehurst, Reading, Berkshire, RG31 5JJ.

Part-time Cleaner - Job Description
Main Duties
Church Halls
- Ensuring that the two Church Halls are kept in an acceptable, clean condition.
- Areas include, toilets, kitchens and domestic appliances.
- Cleaning of inside windows where applicable
- Responsible for the reporting of any defects in the buildings.
Part-time Cleaner - Person Specification
Experience and qualifications required for role:
Desirable
- No formal qualifications are required but relevant experience in the field of domestic services/cleaning is desirable.
Essential
- You must have a valid UK Right to Work, as the Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth does not offer UK Visa Sponsorship.
