Tumble Tots East Cheshire and High Peak are looking for a new Class Assistant to join their team.
The role will be based at Macclesfield Leisure Centre. We are looking for someone to start Saturday 13th September.
Previous experience of working with children is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be given. All roles are subject to a DBS check.
Applicants must be hardworking and reliable, enthusiastic, flexible and enjoy working with children. The nature of position also requires applicants to be physically fit. The role involves:
- assisting with the safe set up and take down of equipment
- ensuring that both children and parents are having fun and participating fully in a safe and challenging environment
- supporting the class leader during circle time, including joining in the action songs and rhymes
- contributing to the happy and safe environment of the centre
- working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality programme.
We are looking to hire someone who can work the following hours (term time only):
Macclesfield Centre - Saturday - 8.30am until 1.15pm
*There may also be the opportunity for more hours in the future.*
The hourly pay rate is minimum wage.
