Job Description
- To ensure that school meals are loaded safely onto a delivery truck and transported to a designated delivery point on school grounds or other designated sites;
- To ensure that trays, plates, and cutlery are collected from school venues;
- To ensure that any consumer comments, complaints, or comments are reported and that appropriate remedial action is taken if necessary;
- To ensure that food and packed lunches are provided on time, in the correct quantity and with all necessary ingredients, including any special dietary or allergies meals;
- To ensure that orders are completed in a timely manner and in good condition while adhering to Food Safety and Temperature Storage Regulations;
- To ensure that you can simultaneously manage multiple orders, delivery locations, and customers;
- Safely operate a vehicle in all types of weather conditions
- Adhere to school speed limit when on school grounds, mindful of pupil safety at all times.
- Follow speed restrictions and the Highway Code when driving on public roads.
- Conduct visual vehicle safety inspections and drive in a safe manner at all times.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and refuel as needed. In company vehicles, smoking is not permitted.
- Attend training activities and meetings as required.
- To store goods in line with HACCP principles and legislation
- To assist in the preparation of food and snacks.
- To keep the kitchen and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state at all times.
- To provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
