Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for catering events.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring excellent guest services at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the catering area, including equipment and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Collaborate with the catering team to set up and break down event spaces as required.
- Support bartending duties as needed, including serving drinks and managing bar supplies.
- Provide assistance during events, ensuring that guests' needs are met promptly.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages.
Skills
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Experience in catering or hospitality environments is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Previous experience in bartending or restaurant settings is advantageous.
