Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards, ensuring high-quality food presentation.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods.
- Serve food and beverages to customers promptly and courteously, taking care to meet dietary requirements when necessary.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas throughout service.
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
Skills
- Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
