Job description
Working as a subcontractor, your duties encompass those typically associated with your job title, Carpenter, including travelling to customers' properties or places of business..
Install aluminium decking onto apartment balconies, including fire-rated composite. Other duties include building garden rooms, as well as any other tasks that support the business's services and scope of work.
Accurately measure building materials and spaces for installation.
Troubleshoot issues with existing equipment.
Install materials that meet the client's expectations.
Possess a good knowledge of working with power tools and other instruments to cut and shape wood, metal, and various materials.
Team player.
Punctual
Communicate with the rest of the UOLG team.
Provide management/customers with updates on project progress.
Maintain equipment.
Clean up after the job is complete.
Maintain the work vehicle.
You must take on reasonable additional or different duties when requested to meet our business needs.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
Qualifications in carpentry or a minimum of 10 years' experience or equivalent.
Attend internal training courses related to all health and safety protocols.
