Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in both care home and home care settings. This position requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personal support, companionship, and assistance with daily activities.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence by helping with mobility and daily living activities.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the person in charge.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the living environment for clients.
Skills
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients.
- Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for this role.

Pay: £12.21-£12.60 per hour
