We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities as needed.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure clients have access to nutritious food.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Follow individual care plans diligently to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients in their homes or care settings.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Basic IT skills are advantageous for maintaining records and using care management software.
- A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting clients when needed.
- Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
