Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in comfort of there own home ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, adhering care plans, and fostering a supportive environment that promotes independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in maintaining their daily routines and activities as outlined in their care plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
- A good understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
