Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in a care home setting, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for residents. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes is advantageous.
- A valid driving licence is beneficial for roles involving home visits.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English are essential.
