Role Overview
As a Salesperson, you’ll be the key point of contact for customers looking to purchase their next vehicle. You’ll provide expert advice, guide buyers through the process, and ensure each customer leaves completely satisfied.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk-in customers with a friendly, professional approach
- Understand individual customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles
- Arrange and accompany test drives
- Highlight key features, condition, and value of each vehicle
- Explain part-exchange options clearly
- Negotiate prices within company guidelines and close sales
- Ensure a clean, presentable forecourt
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets
- Stay informed on market trends
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a diverse clientele.
- Excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with sales management software is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
