About the role

Northumbrian Water Group (NWG) is entering its most ambitious investment cycle—AMP8—delivering over £3 billion in capital projects between 2025 and 2029. To support this scale of infrastructure work, we’re seeking a proactive and organised Project Coordinator to join our Capital Delivery team.

You will help drive successful delivery by coordinating schedules, reporting, and project controls across our capital workstreams. From managing detailed plans to supporting Purchase Orders, diary coordination and stakeholder meetings, this role is essential to keeping our programmes running smoothly and to time.

As Project Coordinator you will support the creation and maintenance of integrated schedules, action trackers, and risk/issue logs. You will support programme and project managers by organising meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes for key stakeholders. You will collate updates and produce clear and timely reports and administer financial tracking (Purchase Orders, invoices, budget reviews).


About you

We are looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and keeps things on track - even when priorities shift. You will be highly organised and great at juggling multiple responsibilities.

You will be a strong with confidence to liaise with both technical and non-technical colleagues. You will be skilled at maintaining accurate schedules, trackers, and reports. You will be proactive, reliable, and committed to supporting a high-performing team.

It will be great of you bring experience from construction, infrastructure, utilities, or regulated sectors - but what matters most is your drive to get things done well.


First stage interviews will take place via MS Teams online on 12th and 16th September 2025

This is safety or security critical role and as a condition of a formal offer of employment you’ll be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test after the job offer has been made. This will be prior to or within four weeks of their start date.
