Background
Who Lets Your Dog Out? Ltd started nearly 7 years ago as a dog walking company. We have developed from a solo person walking dogs to a business that now offers walking, home boarding, housesitting, pet/canine first aid training courses and our newest offering, the Dog Adventure Centre, which is a dog daycare with a focus on enrichment and producing better dogs, not just letting them play all day.
Duties Include:
· Under the instruction of Director, care for the dogs within the Dog Adventure Centre environment. This includes, but is not limited to feed and water all dogs assigned to you and in the Adventure Centre, exercise them outside, train and play time, administer medication where necessary as instructed and groom them as needed.
· Clean, disinfect and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the Adventure Centre, including outdoor spaces.
· Carry out routine health checks of the dogs assigned to you and report any physical or behaviour changes to the Director and nominated shift leaders.
· Assist with and implement the training, behaviour and enrichment programmes under the direction/supervision of the Director.
· Maintain daily reports, necessary paperwork and photos for social media. Reports need to be written up clearly and updated daily.
· Engage with the enrichment activities with the dogs in our care including activities such as adventures, picnics, swimming etc.
· Attend to the needs of the general public in a positive manner, as and when required.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, dogs and clients (pet parents).
· Basic administrative tasks including responding to emails, social media enquiries, processing of application forms, preparation of welcome packs, taking payments and cashing up. There maybe elements of other tasks to help maintain the facility in a suitable condition for dogs and staff.

· Good level of physical fitness, as this role requires you to be physically active for most of your shift
· Methodical approach to working procedures
· Hardworking and enthusiastic attitude
· Must be reliable and flexible
· Full, clean, manual driving licence needed, the ideal applicant will be over 25 as this a restriction on our vehicle insurance.
· Previous experience working with dogs is desirable.
