The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive People Operations Coordinator to support our HR team in enhancing the employee experience and streamlining HR processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles, particularly in Health and Safety, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Onboard new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the company.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Support the administration of employee benefits, payroll, and performance management systems.
- Coordinate training sessions, including Health and Safety Induction and professional development initiatives.
- Assist in employee engagement activities and handle Health and Safety operations on behalf of HR.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Collaborate with the HR team on various projects to improve HR processes and Health and Safety initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with HR trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the UK (full-time). No visa sponsorship will be offered for this position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety or a related field.
- Proven experience in an HR or administrative role is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Compensation and Benefits
