Job Title: Butcher
Job Summary:
We are looking for an individual with a passion for food production and a commitment to upholding food safety standards. Must have previous butchery experience.
We are a small business rearing free-range rare breed pigs with a farm shop/vending machine on site. This would suit somebody looking to reduce their hours from a traditional butchers shop week to something more flexible.
The job will involve one day a week breaking down pig carcasses/preparing different cuts and one day making sausages/burgers. However other butchery jobs will occasionally be included.
We would like someone with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail and must have butchery experience. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player
Proven track record of delivering high-quality work consistently.
The work schedule will include either a Monday/Tuesday for around 6/7 hours and a Thursday for around 7.5 hours. Start time and end time negotiable - can be flexible to suit the correct candidate.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.50 per hour
