E-ppl are currently recruiting for a Build Planner to support our customer based in Staffordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development and delivery of build planning operations, capacity planning, and resource coordination across various programmes.
As a Build Planner, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for managing multiple priorities. Your role will involve close collaboration with a wide range of internal stakeholders across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage schedules for EDU builds across various programmes
- Maintain the build readiness tracker to monitor kit status
- Investigate part shortages and escalate risks when necessary
- Collaborate with Build Operations, Programme, Supply Chain, Stores, and PPL teams
- Represent the department in cross-functional meetings, providing updates and insights
- Track rework activities and manage kit matrices via Wrike
- Assist with KPI development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong IT and data analysis skills – can you turn raw data into actionable plans?
- Understanding of GPIRS, SAP, or similar systems
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Experience in planning or parts coordination environments
- Confidence in stakeholder management
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with planning tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Oracle P6, or Wrike)
- Knowledge of BI tools and dashboard creation
