Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team, providing a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and play. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience in childcare settings.
Hours
Working hours are during Term Time at Breakfast club 7*.20-8.50am, 3-5 days a week*
Also available, After school Club hours 2.30pm - 5.30/6.15pm. 3-5 days a week.
Position to start as soon as possible. *. We have 3 sites and also run Holiday clubs & if interested, we may also have additional hours available in these clubs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Prepare and serve breakfast for the children and maintain clean food preparation areas and hygiene standards.
- Working within a small team in ensuring all children have a happy and fun morning before school.
- Safely escort children to their classrooms at the end of club.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A drive to create an inclusive environment that caters to the diverse needs of children.
- Relevant qualifications in nursery or early childhood education are desirable but not mandatory.
- A genuine passion for working with children and enhancing their play experiences.
