We are currently recruiting for a Break and Classroom Support colleague.
We specialise in providing excellent education and support to learners with diverse and complex needs, including Autism. Our staff are committed to enabling learners to reach their potential and fulfil their ambitions.
In your role as Break and Classroom Support, you will support students during lessons, breaks and lunchtime periods to ensure the wellbeing and safety of learners, in line with the Colleges policies and procedures.
You will support in all Pathway’s across the College, assisting learners with their meals, including collecting, feeding and clearing away where applicable.
You will provide all aspects of personal care support to learners, including administering medication, moving and handling tasks, administering basic first aid, helping learners access the toilet, showering/bathing and assisting learners with dietary requirements such as gastronomy tubes.
You will provide Independent Learning Support cover in the classrooms, on a one-one or group basis under the direction of the ILS Deputy Managers and teachers.
