Looking for a role where your support truly matters? As part of our Bodily Injury team, you’ll guide customers through challenging times by proactively managing their Claim with empathy and professionalism.
Working Hours/ Shift Patterns: You will work 37.5 hours per week on a Monday to Friday 9.00 – 5.30.
Our approach to Hybrid Working: With hybrid working, you have more flexibility, as you usually only have to visit our office once a week and work remotely for the rest of the time. You can always opt to work from the office more frequently if that suits you better. When we organise training and events you may be required to attend in person for the duration.
Salary: The starting salary is £30,000 plus benefits.
Location: Our fantastic Leicester office, which is in the city centre and only a short walk from the train station.
Training: The main training period runs for the first 3 weeks and takes place virtually.
Your Role:
You'll be working in our Bodily Injury team, where you will assist and support our customers when they need us most by proactively managing a portfolio of cases, investigating liability and third party presented quantum claims (Damage and Personal Injury up to a value of £25,000) and agreeing fair outcomes within policy and legal liability.
Negotiating between the Policy holder, Solicitors and Third Parties to get the best outcome for our customers.
Manage and maintain effective relationship with both internal (Hire, Intervention, Customer, Claims, Counter Fraud, Underwriting) and external stakeholders (Repairers, Solicitors, Investigators) to ensure service level agreements, internal and external policies and governance are adhered to.
Gathering of information to enable early arrival at the correct liability decision giving consideration to economic settlement, pro-actively secure appropriate recoveries to limit business exposure.
About You:
- Proven experience managing your own portfolio of claims, with confidence and autonomy
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive mindset and keen attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to build trust and clarity with customers and colleagues
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences, even in complex or sensitive situations
- Solid computer literacy, with the ability to navigate systems and tools efficiently
