Responsibilities
- Install a variety of window treatments, including blinds and shutters ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Use power tools safely and effectively to complete installations.
- Perform any necessary adjustments or repairs to existing installations as needed.
- Communicate with clients to explain installation processes and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment during and after installations.
- Measure and assess window dimensions to determine the appropriate treatment solutions.
Skills
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools related to installation tasks.
- Strong understanding of building materials and construction methods, including masonry and plaster techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret worksheets for accurate installation procedures.
- Experience in carpentry, with skills in building custom solutions when required.
- Capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
