The Job Role
You will bring your knowledge and experience of understanding Westcoast’s key vendor deal registration and bid pricing processes, so we can engage in opportunities earlier and help our partners close deals. You will work closely with the Vendor and Westcoast sales teams and aid with structure and document complex deals. This is a permanent, internal-based role.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
- Review and consolidation of material details around the opportunity from customers, provide guidance and seek approvals and manage escalations to the vendor sales organization and Deal Desks.
- Raise bid requests within the vendor portals within SLAs
- Supporting the Sales team in the areas of pricing, approvals and training
- Developing best practice for fulfilling non-standard deals
- Manage portal workflows
- Troubleshooting, resolving issues and managing the escalation process.
- Bid Desk Admin will be responsible for making all deals practises documented, communicated
- Drive incremental margin to Westcoast by proactive bid management (where possible)
- Work closely with sales teams to drive conversion rates

To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal) plus an excellent telephone manner.
- Well organised.
- A good working knowledge of Excel, Word.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience of a sales admin environment.
- Strong, sales process background.
- Able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise workloads, and personal time management
- Ability to work under changing timelines.
- Good collaboration skills
