We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong foundation in early childhood education.
This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, promoting their development through play and structured activities.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Provide high-quality childcare in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
- Manage daily routines and ensure that the nursery runs smoothly.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
- Support children’s social skills by encouraging positive interactions and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment.
- Uphold health and safety standards within the nursery at all times.
Requirements
- Level 2/3 Qualified in Childcare is a MUST
- Applicants will be subject to safeguarding checks and an enhanced DBS check.
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire both children and colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
