Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bendi FLT Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating Bendi forklift trucks to efficiently load, unload, and transport goods within our warehouse and distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Bendi (fringe lift) forklift trucks to move, stack, and stage products and materials in the warehouse.
- Ensure the safe handling and transportation of goods, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct daily safety checks and maintenance on the forklift equipment.
- Assist with inventory management by accurately recording item movements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow company procedures and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to fulfill daily operational targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Assist with stock checks and inventory as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Bendi FLT (forklift) license or certification.
- Proven experience operating Bendi or similar articulated forklifts.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move items as required.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and record-keeping.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to forklift operation.
Working Conditions:
- Indoor warehouse environment with exposure to moving machinery.
- Must wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on operational needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.25-£13.00 per hour
