As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. Duties
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Ensure all food items are prepared according to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic math skills.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Skills
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
