Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, including pastries and snacks.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and assist where needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or as a Barista is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing orders accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly disposition with the ability to help customers with their queries and preferences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
