Location: The Westgate, West Gate, Long Eaton, NG10 1EF
Pay: Starting from £12.21/hour (or National Minimum Wage, depending on age & experience)
Contract: Flexible zero-hours contract (daytime, evening, weekday & weekend shifts available)
Expected Hours: 12 – 42 per week

The Westgate is home to Cleaver Coffee, The Butchers Restaurant, and The Westgate Suites – our stylish café, restaurant, and events space. Whether it’s the first coffee of the day, an indulgent brunch, or refreshments for a wedding party, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service with a smile.
Under new ownership since June 2024, we’re building a passionate, skilled team and setting new standards for quality and hospitality.
The Role
As a Barista at Cleaver Coffee, you’ll be at the heart of our café experience – crafting delicious coffee and drinks, serving fresh food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for every customer. You’ll also support service during busy periods in the restaurant or event spaces when needed.

We want someone who is:
- Passionate about coffee, food, and exceptional customer service
- Skilled in making speciality hot and cold drinks
- Friendly, approachable, and confident engaging with customers
- Able to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment
- Flexible, reliable, and happy to work as part of a close-knit team
- Proactive in keeping the café clean, tidy, and well-presented
