We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet our quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
- Experience in food preparation is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly attitude with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.60-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
