The Role
As a Barista at Federal, you’ll be at the heart of our coffee bar, ensuring every cup we serve meets the highest standards. You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving outstanding coffee, maintaining quality and cleanliness, and helping us create an environment that our customers love returning to.
Responsibilities
- Manage the coffee bar and calibrate machines/grinders daily
- Consistently produce excellent coffee with attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar, equipment, and processes
- Carry out daily opening/closing checklists
- Monitor and manage stock levels (coffee, milk/mylk, matcha, cocoa, etc.)
- Conduct periodic quality control checks
- Help train and support new team members
- Lead by example, aiming for perfection in every coffee made
Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years’ experience in speciality coffee
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to delegate and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive in developing skills and knowledge to stay ahead
- Passionate about coffee, hospitality, and customer experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£15.43 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
