- Prepare and serve a variety of Coffee, hot and cold beverages, including coffee Art, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash management.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive working environment and achieve daily goals.
- Participate in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all items are fresh and presented well.
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have about the menu.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen operations.
- Help keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces.
- Support the team by managing time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Perform basic maths calculations for portioning and inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive working environment and efficient workflow.Qualifications
Previous experience in a café or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders accurately.
Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
A passion for coffee and customer service, with the ability to engage positively with customers.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
